Day 243 - 1st September 2010

Brno's new statue

The first of September is the day when the kids go back to school, and life starts to get back to normal after the summer. It's also a friend of mine's birthday. To celebrate my friend's birthday a group of us met in town and went for a drink in the evening. As I mentioned earlier, Brno is having a makeover at the moment, and as I was walking back from the pub, I noticed a new statue. I'm not sure what to make of it, and a little part of me thinks that money is being unnecessarily wasted. Perhaps it will grow on me. And then again, perhaps not.
