Off to the UK today for week with friends and family. Not a huge fan of flying but the journey was rather pleasant as I flew with a friend. From the airport it's about an hour's drive to my parents' house. I was happy to see that the weather was clement; not what I'd been expecting. The picture of the day is the view from the Dartford crossing on the journey home.
you know, in N.A. we definitely say "inclement weather", but I don't think I've ever heard the opposite, affirmative, "clement". Is it a common UK usage?
