Back in Brno and the heat is stifling. After spending the day in front of the fan in the flat, we decided we had to immerse ourselves in water. The local swimming pool is closed for the summer - go figure - so we hopped in the car and drove to a town about 20 minutes away. By the side of the railway track is an old, out of use mine. Rain water over goodness knows how many years has created this "lake", which also doubles up as a swimming pool :-) The water was freezing and the view was stunning. Just what we needed to end a hot and sticky day.
