The Ninth bi-annual TALC conference was taking place in Brno. The conference finished the next day so Friday night was time for the conference dinner. Roughly 100 people from all over the world met for a fantastic buffet dinner in a beautiful restaurant in Brno. My colleague and I were the first to arrive and the picture above is of the canopies and champagne that greeted us on arrival.
so that's what talc is for.
ReplyDeleteone other thing - this blog makes me do a security check every time I comment, typing in a nonsense word. This last time it was "glympl", which I thought was worth reposting for. Don't Czech students attend glympl before heading off to university? :-)
