Day 142 - 22nd May 2010

It's all about the ice hockey this weekend. Unlike football, the ice-hockey world cup is an annual event. This year the Czech team are doing spectacularly and today saw the Czech Republic playing Sweden in the semi-final. The reasons for using this clip as my  "photo for the day" are two-fold. Firstly, the match was brilliant and just when I thought it was game over for the Czechs, they pulled it back amazingly and won. Secondly, the commentator is wonderful. The guy is from Finland, and although I don't understand a word he is saying, I get the impression he is rather pleased the Czechs won (2 minutes 57 seconds into this clip).
