Day 132 - 12th May 2010

At the end of every semester the university (or one of the student bodies - I'm not too sure) hosts an event called semesterend. As the name suggests, the event celebrates the end of another university semester and is open to all. Although the weather wasn't brilliant, it was a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues, and to stand around sipping beer and chat. Pictured above is a friend of mine, who graduated a few years ago, with her daughter, who was just about able to hold her own head up when I last saw her, enjoying the party.

    ok, I read this TOTALLY wrong - I thought that when you last saw her, your friend was enjoying the party so much that she was unable to hold her head up (from liquor).

    not only that, but you have managed to make her head-LESS in the photo! (maybe it is still back on the table?)

    "with her daughter" escaped me entirely. I was like, who's the kid? or is that the drunk friend?
