The beginning of a new week and time to go back to the Republic. The highlight of my journey was watching a very confident Czech literally use all his power to squeeze his suitcase into the box/frame/stand (no idea what the thing is called) provided by the low-budget airline to see whether your suitcase is small enough to take on as cabin luggage. This guy's blatantly wasn't small enough, but he put such effort into trying to squeeze his suitcase in, that the air hostess gave him brownie points for trying and he was allowed to take it on the plane (pictured above). At least I know how to get my case on as cabin luggage next time :-) Bye bye UK, see you soon :-)
