Once a year a huge amount of people involved in English language teaching decide to congregate to share ideas and learn what's hot and what's not in the profession. This year I decided to be one of them and take part in one of the biggest conferences in Europe. The conference was truly huge, impressive, eyeopening and informative. The photo of the day is of the opening plenary, where I sat at the back wondering what they day would hold in store.
