Day 75 - 16th March 2010

I was actually beginning to wonder if we'd chosen to go skiing in the quietest town in the world. For three days I hadn't seen many people on the slopes, and the only people I'd seen in the hotel were employed to be there. After coming to breakfast for the third day and being greeted by an empty restaurant (pictured above) I decided to ask the waiter where everyone was. It transpired that we were the only guests in the hotel and that the skiing season had officially finished on Sunday. Apparently the chef had come to work just for us. I must admit, had the chef not been there I would never have got to sample half a banana smothered in cream with a bit of chocolate sauce dribbled on top served as desert last night, which was a first for me.
